Two Leading Investors/Buyers: Howard Hollister and Hank Carrillo. We are blessed that our first two buyers are a terrific pair of Americans, Howard Hollister and Hank Carillo, with whom it’s been Robert’s pleasure to spend over 40-hours in Belize on two trips and assorted phone conversations in the past year that they waited patiently for this model residential community to receive Final Approval. Howard is a recently Retired Active Duty US Air Force MSgt, who proudly served three Combat Tours in as many years “On Freedom’s Frontier” in Afghanistan. And Hank Carrillo, Howard’s brother-in-law, is a Retired Master Electrician, who at last report is moving to Belize with his wife and quite possibly with their 29-year-old son, Josh. Before choosing Hummingbird Homes, Howard and Hank shopped extensively for home sites all over Belize, as well as Costa Rica. After just their first 20-minute look at the unusually scenic, peaceful HH home sites in spring 2009 and being pleasantly surprised by the below-market prices, they told Robert that they “definitely want to buy at least one lot.” They recently bought Lots 5 and 7. And they have made repeated promises that they plan to build a home on at least one of these two home sites.
